In Life

The Bible teaches that the gospel is not just about my being saved, but about all of life. At Free Grace we understand that in Christ we are bound together with deep ties. This means that we live life together – getting involved in each other’s lives, sharing the joys and the burdens of life. How do we do this?

Home Groups
Our home groups are where we gather in our each other’s homes to worship God, to learn about him, and to share life together. It is in these small groups that we praise God and wrestle with him. It is here that we celebrate the joys of life together and share the sorrows and burdens of life with one another. It is here that we develop deep relationships with each other in Christ.

Our home group is studying the life of Job. We are exploring how his hope in the midst of suffering was the same as our hope – in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are study Job to learn of the faithfulness of our covenant keeping God, of our own tendency to look to other things for hope, and ultimately of his grace in Jesus Christ for Job and for us today.

The home group study meets Monday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00.

For Women
Another group for women meets the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 9:30 AM. They are exploring the transformation that the gospel makes in our lives.

For Men
There is an informal time for men to gather and share in life over food every third Thursday at Gritty’s in Auburn. We gather at 8:00 PM and enjoy the world that God has made together.
