In the Community
We firmly believe that God is at work not just in us but in our community. We want to be actively involved in what he is doing throughout our community. As we grow we are eager to see God using us in many ways to bring his gospel to our friends and neighbors as we seek to address physical, mental, and spiritual needs for we are all broken people.
One of the ways in which we believe God has called us to bring his gospel to our community is through the establishing of a Christian counseling center, Jordan’s Bridge. We are currently in the planning process of that and are excited by how God is going to use that.
We are also excited about the ways that God is bringing us together with others to do the work of his kingdom. We are excited about the work of the Root Cellar as it seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the youth of the Birch Street neighborhood in Lewiston and their families. We are also excited about how God is using the Hope House as it cares for women in pregnancy and as they raise their children.
